Varisett FSM is available to order today at varisett.com/fsm. It runs the working day of a field service business in one system: the office plans and dispatches jobs, operatives work through their day on their phones, and customers see what's happening without chasing.
Like every Varisett platform, each business gets its own branded system on its own web address, with its own dedicated database. It's ordered online and set up automatically, usually within minutes.
For the office
- Dispatch board and calendar. Day, week and month views, filtered by team or operative. Drag a job onto an engineer, or pick from ranked suggestions based on skills, availability, existing bookings and distance from base.
- Certification-safe dispatch. An engineer without a current required certification can't be assigned to the job. You decide which certifications each job type needs; the system enforces it.
- Recurring jobs. Weekly, fortnightly, four-weekly or monthly visits, such as regular cleaning or servicing, are created for you.
- Quotes, invoices and payments. Quotes built from your own parts and price list, accepted on site or online, then invoiced and marked as paid.
- Timesheets. Hours per operative per day, with overtime, exported as a spreadsheet for payroll.
For operatives
Operatives sign in with an Operative ID and PIN, so no email address is needed. Their day is guided from start to finish:
- Clock in, and complete the daily vehicle walkaround check. Defects are flagged to the office.
- See today's jobs in route order, with the job type and postcode.
- Tap "On my way" to share an ETA with the customer, then "Arrived on site".
- Record time, photos, notes and the customer's signature on the phone. It works with no signal and syncs later.
- Head back to base and clock off.
Crews are supported too: a van with a driver and crew members, where the crew's jobs go to the driver.
For your customers
Each customer gets a portal link, with no login needed. It shows a live ETA, upcoming visits, quotes to accept, invoices and completed job reports. Every finished job produces a printable report with photos and the customer's signature.
Good to know
Varisett FSM records payments taken on your own card machine; it doesn't process card payments itself. It doesn't produce certificate paperwork such as gas safety records, and it doesn't send texts or emails to customers automatically: messages are drafted, and a person sends them. There's no live GPS vehicle tracking.
