Varisett Warehouse is available to order at varisett.com/warehouse. It runs a warehouse from the supplier's delivery to the customer's door: goods in, stock control, purchasing, customer orders, picking in walk order, packing and dispatch. It's actively developed: available now, and improved every week.

Like every Varisett platform, each business gets its own branded system on its own web address, with its own dedicated database, ordered online and set up automatically.

Your warehouse, drawn by you

You build the map: sites, areas, aisles, bays, levels and bins, inside each other to any depth. The structure builder makes a whole aisle of bays and levels in one go. Arrange areas on a floor plan, mark which locations are pick faces and which are bulk, and set the order they're walked in, snaking along the aisles if you like.

Every movement on the record

Stock moves only through one rule: it can't go below zero, into a blocked location, or with the wrong batch or serial number. Every movement is kept in a ledger that's never edited or deleted. Items can be tracked by batch, by batch with expiry date, or by serial number, and valued at weighted average cost, with freight and other extra costs shared across a delivery.

On the scanner

Warehouse staff sign in on a handheld scanner or an Android phone with a Staff ID and PIN, and receive deliveries, put stock away, move it, top up pick faces, count and pick. Pick lists come in walk order, and the scanner says which batch to take.

Picking on the scanner: go to the location, take the quantity, here the batch with the earliest use-by date. Shown with example data.

Orders out

Orders come in typed, from a spreadsheet, from customers' own portal, from Shopify or through the open API. Reserve stock, make one pick list for several orders, pack (scanning each item if you choose), and dispatch with the carrier and tracking number, a delivery note, and proof of delivery for your own vans. Returns come back through the same process.

Good to know

Carriers and tracking numbers are typed in when you dispatch; Varisett Warehouse doesn't book carriers itself. Scanning uses handheld scanners and Android phones. Step-by-step guides for every role are at varisett.com/help/warehouse.
